We were delighted to spend nine days in Nashville as part of the Sister Cities program, connecting Belfast and Nashville over St. Patrick's Day weekend. We had the privilege of showcasing a collection of Terry’s art, which adorned the walls in the historic Cannery Hall. The venue provided a beautiful setting to highlight the artistry and cultural connections between our two cities.
A major highlight of the festival was the exclusive art exhibition featuring Terry Bradley’s work alongside other artists. His featured artwork, recently displayed at the Titanic Belfast exhibition, pays tribute to the men and women of Belfast and Northern Ireland. Terry’s work is deeply personal, reflecting his Belfast roots and his inspiring 'Never Give Up' motto.
Throughout the event, we had the opportunity to engage with SERC catering students, renowned chefs, and talented music artists. The experience was further enriched by the presence of Boatyard Gin and McConnell's Whiskey, which added a taste of home to the festivities.
Taking part in this event was truly a joy, allowing us to celebrate the deep ties between Belfast and Nashville through art, music, and culture. It was an unforgettable experience that highlighted the warmth and hospitality of our hosts and reinforced the importance of international cultural exchange.
