Anyone familiar with Terry Bradley’s work will know how much tattoos and body art feature in his work so what better way to mark the first year of the spacious Terry Bradley gallery than a tattoo experience with a difference.
Terry, who is well known for his own body art, commented “Many people who I’ve met in the gallery tell me that my work has inspired their own tattoos and I’m always honoured when someone asks me if they can use my work in this way. So I thought it would be a great way to combine our one year celebration with a tattoo event. I have designed six images that can be re-created by one of the brilliant tattoo artists we will have in the gallery that weekend.”
On Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 November 2018 the Terry Bradley gallery on High Street, Bangor will host a number of highly acclaimed tattoo artists who will recreated a selection of one-off Terry Bradley images in this unique setting. Guests will be invited to watch the artist at work and customers can pre-book a session with a tattoo artist.
This celebration has been organised to mark the first anniversary of the gallery which has become a destination for Terry Bradley collectors and fans from across the globe. The gallery is the only permanent space to house the full collection of Terry’s available work and sits proudly on Bangor High Street. The gallery plays a significant role in the vibrant, creative community of Northern Ireland and this event celebrates a very successful first year.
